Neram - Oru Sirappu Paarvai 27-05-2013 Vijay Tv Special Show, Neram (English: Time) is a 2013 South Indian romantic comedy thriller film written, directed and edited by Alphonse Putharen in his directorial debut. The film was simultaneously made in the Malayalam and Tamil languages with slightly different casts. Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Simhaa play the pivotal roles in both the versions. Other members of the cast include Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, and Lalu Alex in the Malayalam version while Nassar, Thambi Ramiah and John Vijay portray the characters in Tamil. The whole film is set within one day in the city of Chennai. The music is scored by debutant Rajesh Murugesan while Anand C. Chandran handles the cinematography and Putharen the editing himself.[2] The Malayalam version released on May 10, 2013, the Tamil version released on May 17.[3] The film's both versions have received rave reviews upon release.
